Tour Report -- Govardhana: August 10 - 15, 2006

After Baladeva Purnima, Srila Narayana Maharaja went to his temple in Govardhana, Sri Giriraja Govardhana Gaudiya Matha, to rest.

The atmosphere in Govardhana was very peaceful and serene. The temple is spacious and the air in Govardhana is clean. Every morning Srila Narayana Maharaja would go for a 45 minute walk, and then informally speak with devotees while walking back to his room. Also on the way to his room, he would enter the temple and offer respects to the beautiful deities Sri Giriraja Govardhana, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Sri Sri Radha-Vinoda-bihariji, and to his Guru Maharaja, Srila Bhaktiprajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja.
